Story
Welcome to our little dance family!
We are Kylee and Stephen Vincent, a couple brought together by our shared love for dance and adventure.
​
Kylee comes from the vibrant landscapes of South Africa, while Stephen comes from the charming towns of the UK. We first met while traveling with the incredible dance company, Burn the Floor, and it didn’t take long for us to realize we were dancing our way into each other’s hearts.
​
We’ve shared unforgettable moments on stages worldwide and in 2017 we took our biggest leap yet by getting married. Our wedding was on a stunning mountaintop overlooking a gorgeous lake in South Africa, a perfect spot that reflects our love for nature and each other.

Now, we’re excited to share that our family is growing!
Our baby boy is on the way, and we’re over the moon about starting this new chapter in our lives.
​
Together, we want to continue to create, perform, and teach the art of dance, bringing the magic of movement into every step we take. Our journey is filled with countless performances, competitions, and the joy of inspiring others through dance.

My name is Alexa Young
Stephen Vincent embarked on his journey in the world of dance at the age of six, specializing in Ballroom and Latin. By the age of 16, Stephen had achieved titles such as:

UK Latin Champion

UK Under-21 10 Dance Champion
​
His talent also led him to represent the UK at international levels, including the World Championships. Stephen then moved to London to study dance at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, expanding his knowledge and skills to other dance styles such as Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and Musical Theatre.

His entertainment career kicked off with performances in:

"Simply Ballroom" which toured the UK, South Africa, and Dubai

"Cheek to Cheek" at the West End in London

Stephen joined Burn the Floor in 2006, touring across the world to Australia, China, Japan, Europe, South Korea, and the USA. He played a significant part during his time in the company with his roles as Dance Captain and member of the creative team. Additionally, Stephen had the honor of performing in "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" The Musical and Giovanni Pernice’s tours across the UK.

Most recently, Stephen has made a mark as a professional dancer on "Dancing with the Stars Ireland," where he has just completed his fourth season. His celebrity partners have included stars such as Yewande Biala, Ellen Keane, Marie Cassidy, and Rosanna Davison.

Over the years, Kylee has honed her skills in various dance forms including freestyle, slow dance, hip hop, ballroom, ballet, and contemporary, with a specialization in Latin dance. Kylee's competitive spirit and dedication to dance led her to represent South Africa at the Junior World Championships in Italy and she is the undefeated WDC South African Amateur Champion.

Her career is marked by several significant achievements:

Winner of the U21 Open British Latin Championships at the prestigious Blackpool Festival in 2012
​
Transitioning from competition to the global stage, Kylee ventured into the entertainment industry, joining the renowned Burn the Floor Dance Company. Touring countries such as China, South Africa, Europe, and the United States, Kylee’s roles within the company grew, becoming company manager, dance captain, and playing a part in the creative team.
​
Kylee also toured with Giovanni Pernice (dancing at the West End) in the UK and has performed in acclaimed musicals like "Rock of Ages" and "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert." Most recently, Kylee completed her fourth year on "Dancing with the Stars Ireland," partnering with stars such as Father Ray Kelly, Neil Delamere, Damian McGinty, and Davy Russell.

In addition to her dance achievements, Kylee is a certified Yoga instructor with a 500YTT qualification, bringing a holistic approach to her dance and wellness practices.
